US-based Hilton Hotels & Resorts has selected the Dow Hotel Company (DHC) to operate its 353-room Hilton Bellevue hotel after the property was divested to real estate agency Wig Properties.
The Hilton Bellevue hotel is located close to the future East Main light rail station and is situated in the business district of the US city with access to Meydenbauer Convention Center, Microsoft Campus and T-Mobile headquarters.
It is also located at proximity to leisure destinations such as the Shops at the Bravern, Bellevue Arts Museum and several Washington wineries.
DHC founder and president Murray Dow said: “Having operated and been a joint venture partner in the Hilton Bellevue since 2005, we are intimately familiar with the marketplace and the wants and needs of its guests.
“DHC recently oversaw the hotel’s all-inclusive, $10m renovation to bring the hotel to ‘like-new’ status making it competitive with the marketplace.”
The hotel features a 60,000ft² meeting space that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests and also provides the Coffee Bar Café.
Dow added: “ “Under the new ownership’s direction, we intend to build upon its already successful platform as Wig Properties expands its development in the marketplace.”
The amenities offered by the hotel include outdoor heated pool, whirlpool, a 24-hour fitness centre and a full-service business centre.
Wig Properties operates as a developer, owner and manager of commercial real estate in the Pacific Northwest.
Established in 1997, Dow Hotel operates eight properties across the US.
