Extended stay hotel brand WoodSpring Hotels has opened its new property WoodSpring Suites Seattle Redmond in Washington, US.

Developed by West 77 Partners, a real estate firm, the new hotel will be operated by WoodSpring Hotels Property Management.

WoodSpring Hotels franchise development and operations executive vice-president Ron Burgett said: “By fully utilising our expertise in the extended stay segment and the profitability that is a result of our unique operating model, the WoodSpring Suites brand continues to attract first-rate developers like West 77 Partners.

“West 77 has been a great partner to WoodSpring Hotels as we continue to grow in the greater Pacific Northwest area.”

The 120-room, four-storey hotel features an in-room kitchen, expanded lobby space and a fitness centre.

West 77 Partners principal Mike Nielson said: “With little to no former WoodSpring Suites brand presence in the northwest, we saw an opportunity to successfully broaden our real estate portfolio.

“We’re looking forward to providing a great extended stay option to those travelling to the greater Seattle area with our continued WoodSpring Suites development.”

WoodSpring Suites’ under construction property, being developed by West 77 Partners in Seattle Everett, is slated to open in later part of this year, with further expansions set to take place in Pacific Northwest area.

WoodSpring Hotels has approximately 240 hotels in 35 states across the nation and provides management and accounting services for hotels and includes business units for development, construction and operation of company-owned hotels.
