Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) has issued the ‘Dubai Assured’ stamp to Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai.
The hotel also secured the ‘CovidClean’ certification from Safehotels, reported Trade Arabia.
SafeHotels is one of the world’s leading hotel safety and security certification companies.
As part of its efforts to ensure the country is at its maximum level of safety preparedness, Dubai has launched ‘Dubai Assured’ stamp which will be issued to hotels and retail establishments, F&B outlets and attractions.
The stamp will be issued to hotels and retail establishments that have implemented all public health protocols and safety for the prevention and management of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
Furthermore, it confirms that the 181-room Ramada property has adhered to the health and safety protocols outlined by Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing as well as Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management.

By GlobalDataValid for 15 days, the stamp is subject for renewal every two weeks so as to ensure continuous compliance to the strict measures imposed by respective authorities.
Meanwhile, the CovidClean certification issued by Safehotels is valid for a year.
Dubai Tourism Director General Helal Saeed Almarri said: “Nonetheless, the health and safety of our residents and visitors remains our utmost priority.
“The compliance programme that we have now rolled out across the hospitality sector with the wholehearted support of Dubai Economy and Dubai Municipality is not only testament to the continued efforts being made to further enhance health and safety standards but is also a confidence-boosting measure to reassure travellers that Dubai is one of the world’s safest destinations.”
Last month, Ramada said it was set to expand its presence in Spain by opening two additional locations.
