Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of new Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Hotels in North Scottsdale, Arizona, US.
It is Scottsdale’s first dual-branded properties that are operated by lifestyle hotel and resort operator Evolution Hospitality.
The hotels feature open concept public spaces, a 24-hour fitness centre, around 2,000ft2 of meeting and event space, breakfast and bar areas and an outdoor swimming pool.
The Hyatt Place North Scottsdale comprises 136 spacious guestrooms, necessities and event spaces with 1,910ft2 of flexible meeting/function space.
Hyatt House North Scottsdale features 93 guestrooms including studio and one-bedroom suites along with 24-hour guest laundry services.
Evolution Hospitality general manager Scott Snofsky said: “As guests look for a place to recharge on the road, we know they can appreciate the modern design and spacious layout in each guestroom– from the separate areas to sleep and work, including the Cozy Corner at Hyatt Place North Scottsdale, to the apartment-style suites with full kitchens at Hyatt House North Scottsdale.”

By GlobalDataIn a separate development, a Hyatt affiliate reached franchise agreement with an affiliate of Dreamscape Companies to renovate the Rio Las Vegas.
The project involves renovation of more than 2,510-room Rio Las Vegas and will be rebranded into multiple Hyatt full-service brand flags.
Work will also include redevelopment of the current public spaces, including gaming, retail, food and beverage, spa and fitness, and pool recreation deck.
Hyatt real estate and development vice-president Kimo Bertram said: “We are thrilled that Dreamscape will help us bring multiple Hyatt full-service brands to Las Vegas, starting with a Hyatt Regency hotel, which we believe will deliver on the Hyatt Regency brand promise of creating meaningful connections in modern spaces designed for sharing, socialising, and collaborating.”
