US-based restaurant and hotel chain Nobu Hospitality has signed MoU with Thailand-based real estate group Asset World Corp (AWC) to open multiple Nobu Hotels and Restaurants in Thailand.
The multiple Nobu Hotels and Restaurants will open exclusively with AWC in Thailand’s attractive destinations.

By GlobalDataNobu’s first restaurant in Bangkok is expected to open at the end of 2021.
AWC chief executive and president Wallapa Traisorat asid: “We are thrilled about this collaboration with Nobu, which is such a perfect partnership of the AWC and Nobu brands and our shared belief in unique offerings, design and creating experiences.
“From a business perspective, introducing Thailand’s first Nobu restaurant will enhance the value of our existing property Empire Tower, turning it into a large mixed-use facility and lifestyle experience destination right in the middle of the Bangkok CBD.
“Our shared growth plan is to extend to a hotel under the Nobu brand in the future, which is to feature exquisite cuisine at every meal and a distinct, intriguing design.”
Nobu Hospitality was founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper.
The hospitality company has operations across six continents, with new properties under development in Riyadh, Toronto, São Paulo, Atlanta, Tel Aviv and Marrakech.
In February this year, Nobu revealed that it was working with property company SIGNA to develop new hotel in Hamburg, Germany.
Nobu Hotel Elbtower Hamburg will feature 191 guest rooms and suites and a 200-seat Nobu restaurant.
