Design of the seven storey Hilton hotel

Buchan Concrete Solutions was awarded a contract to design, manufacture and erect a precast form for the hotel.

“The hotel is spread over 13 acres of landscaped area.”

Hybrid design solutions were used in the traditional precast reinforced concrete and deep panel beams in order to provide a spacious ground floor level.

A total of 236 external and 432 internal wall panels, 761 floor panels, landings and flights were used.

Waldeck worked in association with Buchan to provide structural engineering for the precast elements.
