French hospitality company Accor has revealed plans to open its luxury brand Fairmont Hotels & Resorts’ first property in Japan in 2025.
Fairmont Tokyo will be developed in collaboration with Japan’s real estate firm Nomura Real Estate Development.
The hotel will feature 219 guestrooms and suites, a spa, a fitness centre, three restaurants and bars, banquet facilities and chapel, a swimming pool and meeting rooms.
Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea CEO Garth Simmons said: “We are excited to welcome Fairmont Tokyo into our portfolio of grand hotels, providing a stunning backdrop where glamour meets culture, and where guests and locals will come together to make memories.
“Like all Fairmont properties around the world, the hotel is set to become the epicentre of Tokyo’s social scene and will bring a new level of personalised service and thoughtful luxury to the city.”
Fairmont Tokyo hotel is located on the upper floors of South Tower, a part of the Shibaura Project of the National Strategic Special Zone Programme.
