Capella Hotels and Resorts has announced its plan to open Capella Kyoto, a luxury facility, in Miyagawa-chō district, Japan.
The four-storey hotel with 92 rooms is scheduled to open its doors in mid-2025.
The hotel, designed by architect firm Kengo Kuma and Associates, showcases the rich Higashiyama culture and heritage through its artworks and interior design.
The luxurious rooms with a touch of Japanese culture promise to offer guests an immersive experience.
Capella Kyoto is well connected to key districts and heritage sites including Kenninji Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple and Ninenzaka tourist zone.
The hotel features a Japanese garden courtyard. The bamboo courtyard, also called ‘ichigo-ichie’ (one life, one moment), promises a relaxed outing.
