July 2022 has seen an increase of 2.78% in the overall hiring activity when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 3.69% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in July 2022, registering a decrease of 0.51% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in July 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 53.33% in July 2022, a 60% rise over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 26.67% in July 2022, marking a 20% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 13.33% in July 2022, a flat growth from June 2022.

A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 6 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered an increase of 50% over the previous month, followed by The Walt Disney with 2 jobs and a flat growth. BCD Travel Services with 2 IT jobs and Gateway Casinos & Entertainment with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while RVezy recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during July 2022.

Costa Rica commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 26.67% share in July 2022, a 20% decrease over June 2022. Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.33%, down by 21.43% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.33% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
