Global hospitality company Hyatt Hotels has opened its first Hyatt Centric branded property in the capital city of Maharashtra state in India.
The new hotel, Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai, is the 37th Hyatt property in India.
Located near Juhu beach in Mumbai, the hotel is at a walking distance from the city’s various tourist spots, including Prithvi Theater, ISKCON temple and Juhu beach.
The property features 60 upscale guestrooms and suites, offering a variety of options for guests including studio suites, a Presidential Suite, twin bedrooms, king bed sea view rooms and king and queen bed city view rooms.
Hyatt West India area vice-president and Grand Hyatt Mumbai general manager Dietmar Kielnhofer said: “Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai is the first Hyatt hotel to open in Mumbai in 18 years, which makes the opening a momentous occasion, as it is a testament to our strength and confidence in Mumbai.
“The Hyatt Centric brand is known for offering signature touchpoints designed to elevate the guest experience with cutting edge food in one of the most vibrant and sought-after destinations in Mumbai.”

Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai has a separate 2,152ft² of event space at ‘Saffron’, a venue for hosting events and social gatherings.
Saffron is equipped with various modern and business-friendly amenities, suitable for meetings, corporate events, off-sites, movie launches, family gatherings as well as wedding functions.
Other on-property amenities in the hotel include fitness centre, an infinity rooftop pool and a terrace bar.
Earlier this month, Hyatt Hotels signed a deal to revamp Noor-Us-Sabah Palace in Bhopal, India into Hyatt’s The Unbound Collection brand property.
