InterContinental Hotels Group has announced it will be converting the Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa in France into InterContinental Bordeaux Le Grand Hotel.
The hotel group signed a management agreement with French real estate company Financière Immobilière Bordelaise to look after the property, which would be its sixth in the country.
Dating back to 1776, the 130-room hotel will undergo a transformation before it is brought under the umbrella of InterContinental.
It will include the fine dining restaurant Le Pressoir D’Argent, with the entire food and beverage offering of the hotel to be overseen by the Gordon Ramsay Group.
The hotel will also feature seven meeting rooms, an indoor pool, fitness spa and hammam facilities.
