InterContinental Hotels has announced the opening of the newly retrofitted Holiday Inn Express hotel in Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas.
The hotel is owned by Australian property and infrastructure company Lend Lease and is managed by IHG. The hotel is an army lodging, which was upgraded to the Holiday Inn Express brand.
The hotel features 149 rooms, a 24-hour business center that can accommodate up to 12 guests, a 24-hour fitness center, a pool and an Express Start breakfast bar.
The company renovated guest rooms to feature contemporary styling, comfortable queen, king-sized or two double beds, as well as a sitting area with a lounge chair.
InterContinental runs the Privatisation of Army Lodging (PAL) programme and has more than 2,300 Holiday Inn Express hotels that offers personal services to travellers.
Holiday Inn Express hotels in the IHG Army Hotels portfolio are designed to meet needs of military guests.
