The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has announced the opening of Dar Tantora by The House Hotel, a brand under Kerten Hospitality in AlUla Old Town, Saudi Arabia.

The hotel features 30 guestrooms, a restaurant, a café, a pool and a spa and is expected to expand RCU’s accommodation-offering footprint in AlUla.

The guestrooms will have traditional décor, furnishings, artistic elements and storytelling aspects that reflect the town’s heritage.

RCU is developing this property by restoring multiple historic mud-brick buildings, leveraging modern engineering technology and techniques.

John Northen, the Royal Commission for AlUla Hotels and Resorts head and vice-president, said: “Dar Tantora by The House Hotel will allow guests to live the rich heritage of the AlUla Old Town historical village.

“Steeped in the past yet embracing progress, this hotel encapsulates RCU’s vision for a diverse range of accommodations as we continue to deliver on our plans for more than 5,000 keys by 2030.”
