InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened a new 118-room Holiday Inn Express hotel in Pachuca, Mexico, its first in the city.
Owned by Organización de Bienes y Servicios, the property is situated in the state of Hidalgo, one of the largest gold and silver mining areas in the country, and is franchised by an affiliate of IHG.
The property is in proximity to the modern Zona Plateada area of the city, as well as to major attractions, businesses and financial districts. The hotel is also close to the Tuzoforum Convention Centre, which can accommodate around 2,000 people.
IHG Mexico, Latin America & Caribbean distribution and commercial marketing vice-president Gerardo Murray said: "We are delighted to welcome the Holiday Inn Express brand to the important city of Pachuca.
"Holiday Inn Express hotels offer guests a great night’s rest, while helping them be productive on the go, and this hotel is the smart choice for people travelling to Pachuca."
New Holiday Inn hotel features an indoor swimming pool, three meeting rooms, a fitness centre and business centre, in addition to 226 on-site parking spaces.
