Saudi Arabia-based Diriyah Company has partnered with hospitality company Aman Group to develop two tourism destinations in the country, Trade Arabia has reported.
Located in the desert near the capital city of Riyadh, Aman Wadi Safar will have 78 guest rooms along with a collection of around 34 Aman-branded residences and amenities such as an Aman Spa and a range of dining options.
Aman’s sister brand Janu will develop the Janu Diriyah property, which will feature 120 guest rooms and a wellness centre.
Diriyah stated that the Aman Wadi Safar property’s design will draw its inspiration from the old city’s historic and rich cultural legacy and traditional Najdi architecture.
Aman Group chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin was quoted by the media outlet as saying: “This announcement marks a continuation of its commitment to KSA. When I first visited the country, it made an immediate and lasting impression on me owing to its rich heritage and culture, as well as exceptional landscapes.
“Aman Wadi Safar and Janu Diriyah will build upon Aman Group’s existing pipeline of properties in Saudi Arabia and reinforce our strategic vision to offer our clients the opportunity to experience the breadth of this fascinating, previously undiscovered country with journeys that encompass city experiences, remote desert landscapes and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.”
