Entrepreneur Tristan Schukraft, founder and CEO of the telemedicine platform MISTR, has acquired the Tryst Beachfront Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Tryst Beachfront is a boutique hotel that features 36 guest rooms offering ocean views, a two-bedroom penthouse and a restaurant and bar.
The acquisition includes the real estate and total assets related to this property.
Located close to the front of San Juan Beach, Tryst Beachfront Hotel initially opened in the 1960s as the Atlantic Beach Hotel.
The Tryst is currently undergoing a $6m refurbishment and plans to turn Condado Beach into the epicentre of LGBTQ life on the Isle of Enchantment.
Furthermore, Schukraft has purchased nightclub the Circo, which is considered to be a premiere spot for LGBTQ nightlife.

The Tryst remains open during renovations. Circo is scheduled to reopen later this year.
