Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HSH) continues to expand its Peninsula portfolio with the opening of The Peninsula London.

The hotel is now taking reservations for stays from 12 September this year.

The Peninsula London, located in Belgravia, boasts 190 guest rooms and suites, with facilities such as dressing rooms and bathrooms and is situated close to several tourist attractions.

The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels managing director and CEO and The Peninsula owner and operator Clement Kwok said: “We are delighted to launch The Peninsula London, which is the culmination of decades of looking for the most exceptional location in London.

“We are very excited to welcome local residents and international visitors to experience this exceptional property and to enjoy The Peninsula’s sophisticated hospitality and service in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.”

American architect Peter Marino designed the interiors of this property.

The hotel will feature several event areas, including the St. George Ballroom, conference rooms and communal spaces, which are set to open later this year.

Brooklands, the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, will serve modern British cuisine and beverages and feature a tasting area. Canton Blue and its adjacent bar Little Blue will serve Chinese cuisine, cocktails and teas.

The Lobby also serves traditional Peninsula Afternoon Tea and globally inspired dishes. The Peninsula Boutique and Café serves a menu with salads, sandwiches and sweets throughout the day.

Furthermore, the hotel features a fitness centre, a 25m indoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre.

The hotel’s ground floor boasts nine upscale stores, including Asprey London, DMR – David M Robinson Jewellery and Watches, Mouawad, Moussaieff Diamond and a flower shop.
