Iberostar Hotels and Resorts has opened a sustainable family resort, Iberostar Selection Albufera, in Majorca, Spain.
The property, which opened this month, intends to introduce its all-inclusive model to Spain, which the company has been serving in the Caribbean for over three decades.
This resort is intended to meet the demanding sustainability criteria Iberostar supports throughout its global operations and hotels.
The property has been developed following an extensive renovation of two of the company’s hotels: Alcudia’s Bay: Iberostar Selection Albufera Park and Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa.
The renovation commenced in 2022 and covered all the resort’s facilities, including the 600 guest rooms, the common and recreational and also the ten bars and restaurants.
The property currently employs around 400 people in Palma de Majorca.
