The Fern Hotels and Resorts has acquired the Metropole Hotel in Ahmedabad, in the Indian state of Gujarat, under a revenue-share model, Hotelier India reported.
Located near the banks of the Sabarmati River, the newly acquired will be the Fern Hotels’ 24th operational hotel in Gujarat.
At present, the property is operational and is being upgraded and renovated.
Upon completion, the Metropole Hotel will be rebranded as the Fern Residency Subhash Bridge, Ahmedabad.
It will feature 69 rooms and suites, each room featuring LED TVs, eco-friendly bathroom amenities, tea/coffee makers, Wi-Fi connectivity, a Minibar and in-room dining.
The hotel will also include banquet facilities, a health club, a multi-cuisine restaurant and meeting rooms.

The Fern Hotels & Resorts managing director Suhail Kannampilly was quoted by the publication as saying: “We are thrilled to be introducing the Fern Residency Subhash Bridge, Ahmedabad as our newest addition to our growing portfolio of hotels in Gujarat.
“The refurbished property will reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability.”
Last month, the company signed an 81-key hotel in Palghar, Maharashtra, India.
To be operated under the Fern Shelter Resort brand, the hotel’s rooms will feature modern amenities and décor, as well as many dining options and banquet facilities.
