Hilton is expanding its network in China with multiple signings across several brand categories in the first half of this year.
The signings include Conrad Qingcheng Mountain, Curio Collection by Hilton hotels in Yantai and Anji, Hilton Garden Inn Chengdu Chenghua, Hilton Garden Inn Hangzhou Grand Canal, Hilton Shanghai City Centre and Hilton Shanghai Jing’an.
Hilton global development chief financial officer and president Kevin Jacobs said: “Hilton’s brand portfolio offers owners unparalleled options and solutions that leverage evolving opportunities while delivering stable returns amidst ever-changing market dynamics.
“In China and across our global portfolio, we are focused on strategic brand deployment and organic growth and the robust signings from the first half of this year reaffirm owner confidence in our brands across the luxury, lifestyle, full service and focused service categories.”
The company’s two Hilton Garden Inn brand properties – the 210-room Hilton Garden Inn Hangzhou Grand Canal and the 207-room Hilton Garden Inn Chengdu Chenghua, are planned to open next year.
In Shanghai, Hilton will open two properties, one in an emerging development zone and the other in downtown.

The 382-room Hilton Shanghai City Centre is planned to open next year.
The Conrad Qingcheng Mountain, which will be located near the UNESCO World Heritage site Qingcheng Mountain in the Sichuan province, is expected to open in 2027.
It will feature 180 rooms along with swimming pools, a fitness centre and a spa.
Hilton’s lifestyle brand Curio Collection by Hilton will debut in the northern part of China, with the opening of the Puyuan Hotel Yantai, Curio Collection by Hilton in 2024.
The 115-key A Thousand Moons Anji, Curio Collection by Hilton, which will be situated in the Zhejiang province, is expected to open in 2025.
