IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its third Hotel Indigo brand property in Australia, Hotel Indigo Melbourne on Flinders.

Located on Flinders Lane in Melbourne, the lifestyle hotel is owned and operated by Pro-Invest Group.

This property also marks the debut of Hotel Indigo in Melbourne.

Hotel Indigo Melbourne on Flinders provides guests easy access to the laneway’s culture, including street art, cafes, bars, boutiques and galleries.

The property boasts 216 guestrooms and features works by local artists and provides city views.

The hotel’s design, inspired by famous photographer Helmut Newton, pays tribute to photography with a lobby gallery and lounge filled with collected pieces and a selfie booth.

Its fitness centre is expected to open in October, while the event and meeting venues that could accommodate up to 200 guests will open by early 2024.

The hotel houses a streetside Spanish bar and restaurant called BESO, which serves Spanish tapas and a list of wines.
