Hospitality group Accor has announced the opening of the Tbilisi Philharmonic Hotel by Mercure in Georgia, as reported by TradeArabia.
The hotel is situated within a historic building on Petre Melikishvili Avenue, which was constructed between 1929 and 1930.
Accor’s chief operating officer for New East Europe Alexis Delaroff said: “We are delighted to strengthen our presence in Georgia with the opening of our new hotel in the capital.
“We are confident that its unique location combined with the high standards of an internationally well-known brand will become a competitive advantage for Tbilisi Philharmonic Hotel by Mercure.”
Located in Tbilisi city, the hotel under the midscale Mercure brand features 120 guestrooms that offer views of the city as well as Mount Mtatsminda.
Its MUSE restaurant serves international and local cuisines, while its lobby bar offers a cosy atmosphere with a list of local wines, imported drinks and cocktails.
