Bangkok-based Minor Hotels has signed its first NH Hotel in Australia – NH Sydney Airport, which will be developed with an investment of A$55m ($35.39m), as reported by ETHospitalityWorld.com.

Located at 102–106 Robey Street in the Mascot suburb of Sydney, the property is currently under construction and expected to open by 2026.

Minor Hotels chief operating officer for Australia and New Zealand Craig Hooley said: “We are pleased to be launching the trusted and reputable NH Hotels brand in the Australian market.

The property will feature 90 rooms, a lobby restaurant and a bar offering all-day dining and communal spaces.

NH Hotel has a portfolio of more than 300 hotels across 30 countries worldwide.

The latest announcement comes following the opening of the NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort in Thailand in 2022.
