Independence 47 Hotel is set to undergo a major renovation, transforming it into an upscale boutique hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona, as reported by Azcentral.
Located near the Talking Stick entertainment district in Arizona, the hotel was formerly known as Days Inn and Suites.

The renovation project plans to retain 34 existing rooms while adding 50 more, resulting in a total of 84 rooms.
The hotel owner Andre Golnazarian noted that the entire hotel will stay open during the construction phase, allowing guests to access rooms at all times.
Construction will occur in phases, which will affect about one-third of the rooms at a time.
At the site, a single-storey, 12-room building will be demolished and transformed into a three-storey building, which will feature 50 new rooms.

This shared area will be designed to serve both hotel guests and residents of the condominium building located to the north of the hotel.
Situated across the street from Great Wolf Lodge and Salt River Fields, the hotel is west of Pima Road between Via de Ventura and Indian Bend Road.
In late August, the Scottsdale city council granted a conditional use permit for the project and on 7 September, the city’s Development Review Board also approved the transformation project.
The project is expected to cost about $20m and its construction is scheduled to commence after spring training ends next year.
