Hospitality group Accor has entered into a cooperation agreement with SK Development to open its first Swissôtel hotel in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by FTNNews.
Planned to be built on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, the five-star hotel will offer guests recreation amenities along with wellness facilities.
Accor New East Europe chief operating officer Alexis Delaroff said: “Issyk-Kul Lake, with its therapeutic microclimate and the mesmerising allure of a high-altitude mountain lake, has been drawing increasing numbers of tourists.
“The Swissôtel, we believe, will emerge as a sought-after destination for both locals and global tourists. Our collaboration with SK Development is pivotal and we eagerly await the fruition of this endeavour.”
SK Development general director Alexey Konev said: “Our aim is to seamlessly integrate local hospitality traditions with cutting-edge advancements in the hotel sector.
“We’re dedicated to elevating service standards in the region and we’re confident that the Swissôtel on Issyk-Kul Lake will captivate guests from across the globe.”

The hotel will also provide a range of amenities, including a spa, pool, fitness centre, gourmet restaurant and a congress hall for private as well as corporate events.
This year-round property will be a part of the country’s premier international golf resort. It will boast a golf academy and an 18-hole course.
Scheduled to open in 2026, Swissôtel will be a 14-minute drive from Issyk-Kul International Airport and 222km from Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Located near Kosh-Kol village, the resort spanning 105 hectares will further provide guests access to a sandy beach.
