Global hospitality company Hilton has officially confirmed a franchise agreement with TFG Hotels to introduce the Canopy by Hilton brand in Poland’s capital, Warsaw.
The newly developed Canopy by Hilton Warsaw is set to open its doors to guests in 2025 and marks Hilton’s first venture into the lifestyle hotel segment in Poland.
This development is part of Hilton’s ongoing growth strategy in the country, with five new hotels having opened between 2022 and 2023.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice-president of development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Hilton, expressed the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding its presence in Poland.
He highlighted the potential for growth in cities such as Krakow, Warsaw and Wrocław, and noted Hilton’s enthusiasm for bringing their lifestyle brands to Europe. Canopy by Hilton Warsaw will be joining a group of locally inspired hotels, including those in Reykjavik in Iceland, Zagreb in Croatia and Cannes, France.
Collaboration with TFG hotels
TFG Hotels, the franchise partner for this project, also expressed excitement about this new venture. According to Anna Fijalkowska of TFG Hotels, Warsaw’s status as a thriving centre for commerce in Central and Eastern Europe, coupled with its rich history and culture, makes it an attractive destination for both business and leisure travellers.

By GlobalDataThe investment of €30m in this project is expected to create a popular destination for visitors and locals alike.
Canopy by Hilton Warsaw will offer a spacious roof terrace with panoramic views of the city, where guests can enjoy coffee, cocktails and locally inspired dishes.
Canopy Central design inspiration
The hotel’s central hub, known as Canopy Central, aims to create a welcoming space for relaxation, work, or socialising, designed to blend seamlessly with the local neighbourhood.
For larger gatherings or private events, the hotel will provide meetings and event space.
The hotel’s design will draw inspiration from Warsaw’s exciting blend of art, culture and architecture. Ground-floor glass walls will create a sense of connection between the hotel and the city, while curved balconies pay homage to the city’s Baroque architecture.
The building’s square windows will integrate it with the architecture that surrounds it, and interior design and artwork will reflect the history and culture of Warsaw’s city centre.
