ENVI Lodges, a luxury eco-lodge brand based in the GCC, has entered a partnership with Oman’s Ministry of Defence Pension Fund.
According to a press release posted on Zawya, this partnership will see the development of a sustainable mountain lodge in the Al Jabel Al Akhdar area.
Set to open in 2025, this property will mark ENVI’s debut in Oman and is in line with Oman’s National Tourism Strategy 2040 target of 11.7 million visitors and 80,000 hotel keys.
A representative from the Ministry of Defence Pension Fund said: “Partnering with ENVI Lodges to open the first eco-lodge of its kind in Oman is a strategic move that contributes to the responsible development of the Sultanate’s tourism industry.
“The lodge will appeal to the growing number of travellers seeking eco-friendly accommodation and authentic destination experiences, reinforcing Oman’s reputation as hotspot for nature and adventure.”
ENVI Al Jabel Al Akhdar will feature 40 expedition tents, designed by South African architect Tenthouse Structure.
