Sarovar Hotels and Resorts has formed a partnership with Delite Aravali View to open Delite Sarovar Portico in the Indian state of Haryana, as reported by BWHotelier.
Set to be fully operational in the first quarter of fiscal year 2024, this opening will mark the debut of the Portico brand in Faridabad city.
Located on Neelam Bata Road, the property will feature 74 rooms.
Sarovar Hotels and Resorts managing director and Louvre director for India Ajay K. Bakaya said: “We are extremely pleased with the growing presence of our brand in Delhi (NCR), where we currently operate 15 hotels, with the majority being Sarovar Porticos.
“Delite Sarovar Portico will be our second hotel in Faridabad and we are looking forward to its opening and extending a seamless experience of Sarovar hospitality across our NCR hotels.”
Delite Aravali View managing director Jitender Bhatia said: “We are thrilled to join hands with Sarovar Hotels and Resorts, a leading name in the mid-market space.

The hotel will be 3.5km away from the Faridabad railway station, 37km away from the Indira Gandhi International Airport and close to the area’s major corporate centres.
This latest announcement comes after Sarovar Hotels and Resorts opened an upscale hotel, Golden Tulip Bhopal, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh last week.
Additionally, in September of this year, the hotel chain announced plans to open two hotels in Kenya’s capital Nairobi, by January next year.
Currently, the Indian hotel chain has more than 100 hotels spanning over 67 locations across India.
