Hospitality group Accor has introduced a resort concept developed from the Novotel and Mercure-branded hotels at Darwin Airport, Australia.
Novotel & Mercure Darwin Airport Resort is situated on the land of the Larrakia Nation, the traditional custodians of the greater Darwin area.
The hotels and the airport are owned by Airport Development Group (ADG).
ADG invested $30m investment into the renovation and the merging of the two hotels.
The renovations included revamping the existing rooms and building new accommodations.
The resort now has 423 rooms ranging from family suites, freestanding bungalows, and five-star tropical villas featuring their own plunge pools.
