Hospitality giant Hilton has further bolstered its presence in the US by opening a new Tru by Hilton branded property in North Augusta, South Carolina, reported ThePostandCourier.
Tru by Hilton, a mid-scale hotel brand of Hilton, offers rooms with a smaller footprint, along with larger, more active common areas.
Tru by Hilton North Augusta features 98 rooms and will offer complimentary breakfast and charging stations for electric vehicles.
It also boasts of a 24-hour fitness centre, pool table, and business centre.
Tru by Hilton’s director of sales Sheri Wright stated that the hotel will cater to a wide range of travellers, including sports groups.
It is located four minutes from the Greeneway Trail and under seven miles from SRP Park and Riverview Park Activities Center.

Tru by Hilton North Augusta general manager Christopher Bryant said: “We are excited about the positive impact our presence will have on the local community and look forward to becoming a home away from home for our guests.”
In addition, the property is anticipated to employ 20 local workers.
Tru Hotel marks the latest addition to the Walnut Village, a mixed-use project led by John Cates and E G Meybohm from Meybohm.
This project includes Aiken Regional’s ER at Sweetwater and Your Storage, a self-storage company, as well as fully sold townhomes and planned apartments.
In November 2023, Tru by Hilton achieved a milestone with the opening of five new hotels in the US.
Hilton currently has 22 brands with 7,400 properties across 124 countries and territories.
