Quartiers Properties has announced plans to advance its Centro Forestal Sueco hotel property development on the Golden Mile, Spain

It notes that the architectural selection will mirror the company’s aim to craft unique, high-quality, guest-centric destinations.
The fully developed hotel, located on the Spanish Costa del Sol, is expected to offer approximately 300 rooms.
It has an estimated project value of around Skr3bn ($294.05m).
The company secured the initial zoning approval from Marbella Town Council in August 2023.

By GlobalDataIt currently expects to receive up to 28,000m2 of building rights for hotel development across its properties on the Golden Mile.
Quartiers expressed its intentions to develop Centro Forestal Sueco property as a new luxury hotel as well as expand facilities at its existing Boho Club property in May last year.
The Centro Forestal Sueco site is located next to the Boho Club property and both developments together comprise about 41,200m² of land.
In recent months, Quartiers claims to have also garnered interest from several national and international groups and brands, recognising the development potential of the Boho Club.
This has led the company to evaluate various collaborative opportunities that could further bolster the project.
Quartiers chairman Jörgen Cederholm said: “Boho Club has now established itself as a premier hotel operator in Marbella, winning awards such as Spain’s Best Boutique Hotel, while our restaurant has also received the Travellers Choice 2023 award from TripAdvisor, which means that the restaurant has positioned itself as one of the top 10% restaurants in the world.
“This, combined with Boho Club’s great development potential, strengthens my confidence in an exciting and value-creating road ahead.”
Boho Club is a 40-room boutique resort featuring a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
