Raffles Hotels & Resorts, a luxury brand of Accor, has announced plans to debut a new resort in Trojena, a year-round mountain destination in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
The resort, named Raffles Trojena, is set to open its doors in 2027. Accor has said it will redefine mountainside hospitality, offering guests unparalleled access to the region’s natural beauty.
Designed with a ring-shaped layout, the resort will offer views of the surrounding mountains from every angle. With 105 guestrooms arranged around the perimeter of the ring, guests will enjoy both comfort and privacy.
It will feature circular zones and landscaped gardens at ground level, encouraging exploration and discovery, and the roof will be designed with circular apertures to allow ample natural light.
Raffles Trojena will offer the brand’s signature butler service, exceptional culinary offerings and a focus on destination arts and culture. The resort aims to provide guests with a one-of-a-kind experience that encourages discovery.
The resort will be located in the Discover cluster, one of six that make up this mountain destination. The Discover cluster includes an open-air museum called the Discovery Tower, a panoramic viewpoint known as the Observatory, and the Cosmic Gate, a stargazing camp and astronomical park.
