Nobu Hospitality, a luxury lifestyle hotel, dining, and residence brand, has announced the development of two new properties in Bulgaria.
Called Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Sofia and Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Varna, these ventures, once operational, are expected to significantly impact the luxury hotel landscape in the Balkans.
The launch time period of these properties are yet to be disclosed.
Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Sofia is situated in the historic “Bankers Building” in the heart of Sofia, one of Europe’s oldest capital cities.
Its location is said to be close to boutique shopping, art galleries, and major historical attractions, including the Ivan Vazov National Theatre.
The second property, Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Varna is positioned along the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.

In May last year, Nobu Hospitality opened Nobu Hotel Marrakech in Marrakech, Morocco.
Located in the Hivernage district of Marrakech’s Golden Triangle, Nobu Hotel Marrakech is said to be the brand’s first hotel co-founded by Robert de Niro in Morocco.
The hotel features 71 suites, a restaurant and a Nobu bar. Additionally, it also has a rooftop garden with a swimming pool, a sushi bar and a restaurant.
The property was inaugurated by Nobu Hospitality co-founder and American actor and producer Robert de Niro, along with the property’s co-investors Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa and the American director Meir Tepper.
