YOTEL has announced its partnership with Frasers Hospitality to launch the first YOTEL hotel in Japan, YOTEL Tokyo Ginza, which is slated to open in early 2025.
The hotel will be situated in Tokyo’s vibrant and sought-after Ginza district, known for its premium dining and shopping options.
Its strategic location places guests within a short walk from Tokyo Station, connecting them to the wider region through Japan’s extensive Shinkansen high-speed rail network and the Narita Express route to Narita International Airport.
YOTEL unveiled new visuals of YOTEL Tokyo Ginza, highlighting the brand’s unique blend of contemporary design and local art influences.
The hotel’s interior design promises a refined atmosphere in public spaces and tranquil room designs, offering a retreat from Ginza’s lively streets.
With 244 rooms, YOTEL Tokyo Ginza will feature the latest brand innovations, including a robotic concierge, SmartBeds, and a digital guest journey from booking to check-out.

YOTEL Tokyo Ginza marks the beginning of YOTEL’s expansion in Japan, with plans to establish a presence in major cities such as Osaka, Kyoto, Sapporo, Yokohama, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Kobe.
The brand is also exploring opportunities to introduce YOTELAIR, its transit hotel concept, at key airports and train stations.
Following Tokyo, the brand expects to open new properties in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur between 2025 and 2026.
This expansion into Tokyo and beyond is part of YOTEL’s broader growth strategy in Asia, complementing existing locations such as YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road and YOTELAIR Singapore Changi Airport.
The brand aims to have 50 hotels opened or signed by 2025.
