Ohai Resorts has adopted a new cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) solution, called Infrasys, developed by global hospitality technology company Shiji to support its sustainable outdoor living concept.

The use of Infrasys Cloud POS solution is aimed at bolstering local tourism and enhancing the guest experience.

The Infrasys system is already operational at Ohai Nazaré in Nazaré, Portugal.

Ohai Resorts is now planning to introduce this system across its multiple upcoming locations, including Conil, Peniche, Marbella, and Gandia.

Infrasys draws on more than two decades of experience in POS systems and thousands of installations and is designed to function on any hardware.

Its cloud-based yet offline-capable features make it one of the most adaptable and efficient systems available in the market, capable of running on various operating systems such as Windows, Android, iOS, and Linux.

This makes it an ideal solution for Ohai Resorts as they expand and introduce their new concept.

With advanced data management and analytical capabilities, Ohai Resorts will be able to personalise services to meet the individual preferences of each guest.

Ohai CEO Gerd Loewen said: “At Ohai, we are sustainable native, and we strive to offer luxury experiences that are both unforgettable and environmentally friendly.

“The selection of Shiji’s Infrasys as our technological partner for F&B has been essential, as it allows us to provide exceptional service while supporting our expansion plans.”

Shiji Southern Europe sales director José Ángel Álvarez Guixeras said: “We are delighted to partner with Ohai in their mission to redefine luxury hospitality through sustainability and local tradition. Their unique focus on harmony with nature and creating memorable experiences is truly inspiring.”
