Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has announced the implementation of new technologies to facilitate meeting and event (M&E) planners in booking RHG’s M&E venues through external meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) platforms.
This initiative is expected to broaden the existing availability of the group’s M&E offerings.
One of RHG’s technological collaborations is with MeetingPackage, a European venue management software-as-a-service solution, to support the group’s M&E offering beyond RadissonHotels.com.
RHG has established a seamless integration between its unified technology platform, named EMMA, and MeetingPackage’s meeting and events booking software.
This integration enables RHG to utilise MeetingPackage’s software as a channel management solution, connecting to third-party vendors such as Venuedirectory, and offering an intuitive and automated channel management solution for external organisers.
MeetingPackage CEO and founder Joonas Ahola said: “This partnership not only enhances our footprint with RHG’s properties but also strengthens our position in the global marketplace.

By GlobalData“Through a single integration with MeetingPackage’s robust distribution APIs, distribution partners – including event marketplaces, TMCs, DMCs, and other industry providers searching for meeting rooms or group accommodation blocks – can now access an even larger network of properties.
“For hotels, MeetingPackage offers an unprecedented central hub to manage their distribution strategy for groups, meetings, and events, streamlining processes that were previously fragmented.”
This technology is initially being rolled out across the first set of UK hotels starting this month, with plans to extend across RHG’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) portfolio, targeting key MICE markets such as the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway.
RHG has also announced its partnership with HeadBox during IMEX 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany, from 14 to 16 May.
The two companies plan to explore AI-powered meeting and event solutions further.
They are implementing HeadBox 3D Studio, a tool that allows the creation of immersive guided tours with AI-generated narrator videos in minutes.
The integration of HeadBox 3D Studio technology offers significant time savings for event planners by utilising the RHG’s existing immersive experiences enhanced with AI technology.
RHG said that these tours can also be personalised and localised, adding to the technology’s benefits.
