IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Mansarovar Amusement Park & Resort for the development of Crowne Plaza Resort Nepalgunj in Nepal.
The property is expected to open in early 2028, bolstering IHG’s network in South West Asia.
It will feature more than 100 rooms catering to the needs of leisure and blended travel enthusiasts.
It will also feature two meeting rooms and a ballroom, addressing various meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) demands.
The resort will offer easy access from Nepalgunj Airport and the India-Nepal border.

Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts is a hotel brand with more than 520 properties either open or in the pipeline.
In South West Asia, IHG has 50 hotels operating across five brands and a pipeline of 64 hotels that are anticipated to launch over the coming three to five years.
Earlier this month, IHG Hotels & Resorts introduced two new luxury and lifestyle brands – Hotel Indigo and the Vignette Collection – in Vietnam.
