IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has broadened its luxury and lifestyle network by signing three new properties in Turks & Caicos.

The resorts, which are scheduled to open by 2027, will comprise InterContinental Turks & Caicos, Kimpton Turks & Caicos and Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos.

IHG Hotels & Resorts Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean Development regional SVP Paul Adan said: “As we expand IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle presence across the Americas, we’re doing so with thoughtful intention.

“Turks & Caicos is one of the Caribbean’s most spectacular destinations, and we’re excited to mark the company’s much-anticipated debut there with our InterContinental, Kimpton and Hotel Indigo brands.”

The resorts will be developed in collaboration with owner Molo Hotel Group and UK-based management group Lighthouse Hotel Management, both owned by the Slominski family.

Their design and architecture will be executed by Scotland-based Ica, alongside Turks & Caicos-based Conservative Architecture and EDSA from Miami.

InterContinental Turks & Caicos will feature 59 all-suite retreats, a restaurant and bar, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, and Club InterContinental lounge.

The 192-key Kimpton Turks & Caicos will offer three outdoor pools, a spa, a fitness centre, and seven dining options, including a beachfront restaurant and a rooftop bar.

Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos will provide 56 rooms across a new building and two renovated structures.

It will offer amenities such as an on-site restaurant, a lobby bar or coffee shop, an outdoor pool, and a fitness room.

These new openings are an expansion of Molo Hotel Group and Lighthouse Hotel Management’s IHG portfolio.

As of 31 March 2024, IHG’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio has grown, with more than 850 hotels already open or in the pipeline globally.

Earlier this month, IHG collaborated with Kajima to introduce ANA Holiday Inn Resort Karuizawa in Japan.
