Italian real estate group Gruppo Statuto has finalised the acquisition of Six Senses London, a luxury hotel with 109 rooms in the UK, for £180m ($239.20m).
Six Senses London is slated to open in early 2025.
The property, currently owned by Hong Kong-based C C Land Holdings and investment company MARK, will officially change ownership upon its opening next year, reported Bloomberg.
Six Senses holds a 30-year management and branding agreement for the hotel, with options to extend in the future, reported Hotel Designs.
In addition, Six Senses London will feature 14 branded and fully furnished luxury residences.
The hotel is located within The Whiteley, which now consists of 139 homes, and is managed by the adjacent Six Senses hotel.

By GlobalDataThe revival of The Whiteley, a former office building, is being managed by development manager Finchatton, alongside joint venture investment partners MARK and C C Land.
It is set to preserve several of the building’s original features, including a grand staircase in the hotel lobby.
Gruppo Statuto owner Giuseppe Statuto said: “With this specific deal in such an international city, we are proud to be a player in the first Six Senses London opening, providing international travellers with a new iconic experience.
“Our strong bond with hospitality brands in the luxury segments continues in its growing.”
Gruppo Statuto has expressed its intention to strengthen its role in the European hotel market through this acquisition.
C C Land Holdings has endorsed Gruppo Statuto as the right fit for taking over the property.
C C Land UK head Adam Goldin said: “Gruppo Statuto has a unique vision for luxury brands having acquired a strong portfolio of leading international hotels across Europe.
“Six Senses London benefitted from high investor demand but, given the existing relationship with the Six Senses brand and track record of relevant experience, Gruppo Statuto proved the right fit as a long-term custodian.”
For the sale of the property, Spartan Advisors and Taylor Wessing were engaged by The Whiteley.
Baker McKenzie provided legal advice to Gruppo Statuto on the transaction.
In 2022, Gruppo Statuto appointed Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to manage Rosewood Milan, which will open in 2025 in Milan, Italy.
