Marriott International and Chinese hospitality company Delonix Group have unveiled plans for three Tribute Portfolio brand hotel projects in China.
The signings are part of the strategic cooperation agreement announced by the two companies in January 2024.
The first three hotel projects, which are already underway, will mark the Tribute Portfolio brand’s entry into China’s Xiaoshan, Chongqing, and Jiande regions.
Tribute Portfolio is an independent boutique hotel brand by Marriott.
Expected to open in early 2025, the three upcoming properties are the Grand New Century Hotel, Hangzhou Boao; the Grand New Century Hotel, Chongqing; and the Wonderland Resort, Hangzhou Jiande.
Grand New Century Hotel in Chongqing will feature 210 modern guest rooms and suites and is strategically situated in the city’s centre, close to various key tourist venues and business districts, including Chaotianmen Wharf and Hongya Cave.
