Radisson Hotel Group has announced its debut in Tunisia’s capital city, Tunis, with the opening of the 97-room property Radisson Hotel Tunis City Centre, a press release provided by pan-African communications consultancy APO Group said.

The hotel offers modern rooms and suites, ranging from standard accommodations to junior suites.

Its culinary options include The Wave, an all-day-dining restaurant serving international dishes, and The Sand Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, which serves drinks and snacks alongside Tunis’ panoramic views.

Guest amenities at the hotel include a fitness centre, three conference rooms that can be merged into one large space, plus three additional meeting rooms.

With 246m² of meeting space, the facilities can host up to 180 attendees and are equipped with the latest audiovisual technology, free Wi-Fi, and catering options.

Radisson Hotel Tunis City Centre is situated near the historic Al-Zaytuna Mosque and the ancient site of Carthage, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The hotel is just a 14-minute drive away from Tunis Carthage International Airport and is close to the central Habib Bourguiba Avenue.

Radisson Hotel Group Middle East, Africa, and SEAP chief operating officer Tim Cordon said: “The rapid expansion of our Radisson brand is a clear indication of the growing demand for a brand that prioritises guests’ comfort and enables them to find more harmony in their travel experience.

“Our Radisson brand aims to strike a balance between business and leisure, which is becoming increasingly important to travellers today.”

In May this year, Radisson Hotel Group opened Radisson Hotel Muscat Panorama, its first Radisson-branded property in Oman’s capital, Muscat.
