Hotel Champlain in Vermont, US, has finalised its transition to become a Curio Collection by Hilton property, following a $9m renovation.
The property, previously known as Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain, now offers new lifestyle community spaces, a refreshed front drive experience, an all-day cafe, and an updated fitness centre among others.
Operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, a global hospitality management company, Hotel Champlain has also introduced an outdoor sauna and hosts weekly outdoor yoga classes during the summer.
The 258-key hotel features the Hotel Champlain Lake Shed on the lobby level, offering guests free access to outdoor games and sports equipment.
The hotel’s new food and beverage offerings include Lily May’s Coffee & Café, a locally sourced eatery providing fresh-baked goods and casual beverages.
Hotel Champlain has collaborated with Heirloom Hospitality and chef Eric Warnstedt to open what is said to be Burlington’s first oyster bar, Original Skiff Fish + Oysters.

In support of local businesses, Hotel Champlain has established a Local Small Business Discount programme, granting hotel guests special discounts at surrounding establishments.
Additionally, the hotel has partnered with Local Maverick, a platform promoting Vermont businesses, to launch Maverick Market at Hotel Champlain, which sells handmade items and snacks from local vendors.
This development follows the appointment of Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA as the operator for the Wyndham Grand Residences in Batumi, Republic of Georgia.
Owned by European Village, the property is slated to open in early 2025.
