City Oasis Inn will be situated at 143 Wills Street, a short distance from the Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
This property will offer amenities such as a lagoon-style swimming pool, a café, and tropical gardens.
The family-run City Oasis Inn, which has seen more than four decades of independent operations, is set to benefit from BWH’s distribution, revenue management, and sales and marketing expertise.

BWH Hotels Australasia managing director Rod Munro said: “We are thrilled to welcome BWH’s second SureStay Collection hotel in Queensland.
“The growth of the economy segment over the last 12 months has rapidly accelerated to meet the needs of today’s travellers.
“With its proximity to a major events venue, City Oasis Inn is the preferred choice for guests travelling to Townsville to see the Cowboys, local events and even Magnetic Island. The hotel is in a prime location to cater to leisure guests and business travellers needing a place to stay.”
Hotel owner and operator Brendan Carter added: “We are confident BWH will honour the unique character of City Oasis Inn while elevating the guest experience to boost our property.
“The BWH team have displayed their flexibility in orchestrating an adaptable brand partnership that allows our hotel to maintain its own identity. This was a key factor in our decision to align with the brand. We look forward to tapping into BWH’s high standards of hospitality and globally renowned loyalty programme to attract new guests.”
