Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has announced a robust growth trajectory in the first half (H1) of 2024, with more than 130 new signings and openings.
This expansion has bolstered RHG’s presence in both business and leisure markets worldwide, marking significant milestones for its various brands, including Radisson Blu, Radisson Collection, and Radisson RED.
The group highlighted that its Radisson RED brand has ventured into new markets such as Ireland, New Zealand, Laos, Thailand, and China, contributing to a nearly 90-strong global portfolio.
In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, RHG has seen substantial growth, particularly with the first Radisson Collection signing in Paris, France, and the opening of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Roma Antica in Rome, Italy.
RHG has also strengthened its presence in Saudi Arabia’s hospitality industry with the signing of the Radisson Collection Residences in Riyadh, set to open this year.
It will be RHG’s tenth property in the city and 44th in the country, including hotels in operation and under development.

In partnership with PPHE Hotel Group, the art’otel Hoxton in London has opened, blending art with lifestyle.
In the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, RHG’s growth has been particularly pronounced in China, with over 5,000 keys added through new openings and signings in major cities.
RHG’s portfolio in APAC now has over 400 hotels at various development and operational stages.
Southeast Asian markets have also seen new signings in Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Laos.
India continues to be a strategic focus, with 25 hotel signings and openings in 2024, including the country’s first Cricket Stadium Hotel and Radisson Collection in Udaipur.
Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront Srinagar, also highlights RHG’s strategic progress in India.
Furthermore, RHG has enhanced its commercial offerings with new services in sales, meetings & events, voice, and web optimisation.
RHG executive vice president and global chief development officer Elie Younes said: “During the first six months of 2024 we reported strong growth across our international portfolio, while consistently creating relevance for guests and value for owners.”
