Peachtree Group has started construction on a new dual-branded hotel development featuring the Marriott brands, AC Hotel and Moxy Hotel, in Dallas, Texas, US.

Slated to open in mid-2026, the 19-storey project will introduce modern amenities and 264 upscale rooms to the McKinney Avenue corridor.

The development will provide 110 rooms for the AC Hotel and 154 rooms for the Moxy Hotel.

This dual-branded approach aims to offer competitive accommodations within the premium Uptown Dallas hotel market.

Set against the dynamic backdrop of Uptown Dallas, the hotels are designed to attract both business and leisure travellers with their modern amenities and prime location.

The dual-branded hotel is expected to redefine upscale accommodations and promote community engagement within the vibrant urban setting.

Guests will be welcomed by the Moxy Bar and Restaurant at street level, which offers an engaging atmosphere.

The hotel will also feature an 8th-floor bar and lounge, offering an outdoor terrace with water features and panoramic views of Dallas.

Peachtree managing principal and CEO Greg Friedman said: “Most hotels in Uptown cater to the upper-upscale and luxury segments, leaving the submarket lacking in upscale hotel options to meet the needs of a substantial portion of Uptown’s demand.

“Uptown represents one of the highest income and most desirable submarkets within the Dallas market. The dual-branded hotel will be situated in a premier location within the neighbourhood, half a block from much of the area’s restaurants, bars and entertainment and easily accessible to numerous corporate demand drivers.”

The property will also include a fitness centre and a 261-stall on-site parking garage.

Friedman added: “The elevated amenity deck and custom-branded bar will create a unique destination within Uptown Dallas, driving demand from both hotel guests and locals alike.

“This dual-branded property is designed to offer a dynamic experience that will stand out in the city’s competitive hospitality market.”

Last month, Peachtree acquired the 100-room AC Hotel by Marriott in Park City, Utah.
