Christie & Co, a specialist business property adviser, has facilitated the sale of Queens Court Hotel in Exeter to Harries-Jones family, the existing hoteliers.
The details of the sale, including the guide price, have been kept confidential.
Set in a Grade II listed Georgian-era building, the hotel is located in a serene, leafy square in the heart of Exeter.
The family that operates The Galaxie Hotel in Oxford has incorporated Queens Court Hotel into their portfolio of establishments.
Harries-Jones family’s Charlie Harries-Jones said: “We are delighted to announce the purchase of Queens Court Hotel. This is the first step in our growth strategy to provide differentiated hotel accommodation in regional cities across the UK.

In addition to its accommodation facilities, the property features a lounge bar and a function suite.
The hotel’s prime location is a mere stone’s throw from Exeter St David’s and Central Train Stations.
The previous owner, Mr K Balendran, had been at the helm of the hotel since 2015. Under his ownership, Queens Court Hotel has established itself as a profitable venture.
