LG Business Solutions USA is launching a new streaming service, LG Channels, on its hotel televisions and set-top boxes to provide hotel guests with a range of free programming options.
Demonstrated at the 2024 Hospitality Show, the service delivers over 95 channels across categories such as news, sports, films, and music without requiring additional hardware.
Content options tailored to guest interests
LG Channels includes a diverse mix of programming, from live news and sports to drama and reality TV. Content includes channels like ION, The Hill TV, and Movie-Sphere by Lionsgate.
Several Stingray Music channels, featuring high-definition audio, offer a variety of music suitable for background listening, designed to enhance guests’ experience whether they are working or unwinding.
Hotel control over channel selection
Hotels using LG Channels can tailor the service to meet guest needs, choosing channels from an extensive list to suit the specific interests of their guests.
This “a la carte” model allows hotels to incorporate desired channels into the guest’s channel guide seamlessly, appearing as regular television channels.
