Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina has completed the renovation of its Marina Tower in California, US, with a multi-million dollar investment.

The redesigned Marina Tower includes 717 guest rooms and suites, with features such as height-adjustable working tables and layered lighting to improve productivity.

The Sheraton Sleep Experience platform beds and LED lighting are some of the classic Sheraton amenities also incorporated in the refurbished rooms.

The Marina Tower’s meeting spaces have also undergone an upgrade, offering more than 130,000ft² of indoor and outdoor areas equipped with the latest technology and catering services, making the hotel suitable for events.

The appointment of Chef Marcos Seville has introduced four new dining concepts, including Rumorosa, which offers Cali-Baja cuisine, Mexican wines, and a selection of agave spirits complemented by live music.

Guests can enjoy seasonal poolside dining in the Sunglow Cabana Bar and go to Brewery X for beverages and chef-driven bar bites.

The hotel has also introduced zero-emission electric shuttle buses and is using hydrogen fuel cells for electricity.

The renovation also added new brand elements such as &More by Sheraton, The Community Table, and The Studios, enhancing the hotel’s communal spaces. 

A variety of water sports activities and three pools are introduced for leisure and relaxation.

The hotel recently received the 2024 Northstar Stella Award, winning a gold medal for Best Renovation in the Far West region for its hospitality.

In September, renovations were completed at The Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown in the US.
