Hospitality company Hilton is set to triple its portfolio in Egypt, with intentions to establish 25 new properties throughout the nation.
This expansion includes the introduction of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Africa and Egypt’s first Curio Collection by Hilton along with a resort under the brand Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
The strategy aligns with Hilton’s goal to surpass 40 hotels in Egypt soon, marking a substantial increase from its current portfolio.
Hilton Middle East and Africa (MEA) development vice president Carlos Khneisser said: “Egypt is our longest standing market in the MEA region, where we’ve been operating for more than 60 years. We are excited to continue building on this legacy as we accelerate our growth, and we look forward to working closely with our valued owners to provide guests with reliable and friendly stays across the country.”
A number of the new properties, which are set to open between next year and 2028, will add to two previously announced properties in Cairo, namely DoubleTree by Hilton New Cairo At Forty Residences and Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Zayed, taking Hilton’s Cairo pipeline to 14 hotels.
In addition, three agreements with Concord Co for Tourist Development SAE and Africa for real estate investment will introduce the Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton lifestyle brands to Egypt.
