Business property adviser Christie & Co has cut the asking price for The Valley Hotel, a family-operated property near Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey.
The hotel, now listed at £795,000 ($987,255), combines accommodation, events, and dining facilities and sits on 1.2 acres of land.
Christie & Co hotels associate director Tom O’Malley said: “At the reduced asking price, The Valley represents a unique and fantastic opportunity to take a business with a decent reputation and level of turnover, and to really maximise its true worth.”
The Valley Hotel offers 19 guest rooms, facilities for weddings and functions, a combined indoor/outdoor bar, and a casual dining space.
With the capacity to seat more than 175 people, the hotel also features a large beer garden and extensive parking facilities.
The property has historical significance as a coaching inn dating back to the 1800s and is situated close to the port of Holyhead, making it a strategic stopover for ferry users.

Anglesey Inns Limited director Paul Snape said: “We understand that the hospitality market is tough, however, this is a genuine retirement sale, after many years of hard work and dedication. The time is ripe now for new owners to bring new skills, energy and enthusiasm to the party.”
For three decades, Anglesey Inns has been at the helm of The Valley Hotel’s operations since taking ownership from Burtonwood Brewery in 1993.
The current shareholders are actively seeking a credible purchaser to infuse new capital and elevate the business to its maximum potential.
